Grammy award winner Chris Brown will be showcasing his smooth moves on May 20, the opening night of the Mawazine Festival Rhythms of the World in Rabat.
The R&B singer will be performing at the OLM Souissi for his first-ever performance in Morocco. Brown has sold nine million albums with hits such as “Kiss kiss,” “Forever” and “Don't Wake Me Up.” He is as well known for his electric performance as he is for controversial moments that make him a permanent feature of the tabloids.
Now in its fifteenth year, Morocco's biggest music event continues to bring together world-class international and local acts.
Last year's performers at Mawazine included Jennifer Lopez, Sting, Myriam Fares, and Yara. With audiences surpassing two million, the Mawazine Festival is the largest in Africa and one of the busiest in the world.
Other acts announced for this year's festival include Assi Helani, Saber Rebai and Christina Aguilera, who will close the festival on May 28.
Mawazine Music Festival will be held in Rabat on May 20-28.
