Prominent Syrian actor Basel Khayat announced that he will quit his acting career. Basel wrote on his official page on the social network Facebook that he thanks all his fans for their ongoing support and has decided to quit his acting career until the chaos in Syria ends and the conditions are stable and back to normal.
Basel added that he thanks everyone who criticized his works and a special thanks to Syrian director Rasha Sharbatji for her attempt to convince him go back on his decision that has become final. Basel noted that he is currently on an open vacation in Abu Dhabi.
