ALBAWABA - Beyoncé appeared on stage with Democratic presidential contender Kamala Harris during a rally in her hometown of Houston on Friday night, October 25.

Beyoncé stood on stage with Kelly Rowland, her Destiny's Child bandmate, and spoke to the audience during Harris' demonstration in favor of women's freedom to make choices about their own bodies.

Beyoncé opened her statement by mentioning her Texas heritage and stating, "Houston!" We are thrilled to be here on this platform as Texas women, supporting and honoring Vice President Kamala Harris."

She praised Harris as "a woman who advocates for what our country requires right now: unity." We can't help but sense the vibe in this space. Variety describes it as "positivity, community, and humanity."

The "Single Ladies" singer made it plain to the audience that she was there as a mother, not a star or a politician, worried about America's future and where her children would live.

"We are on the brink of incredible change—on the brink of history," she was saying. "I'm here as a mother, not a star or a politician." I am a mother who genuinely cares about the world my children and all our children will inhabit.

"A world in which we may freely govern our own bodies. We coexist in this world. Our history, present, and future all come together right here and now.

Consider our girls growing up and realizing what they can do without constraints or bounds. Imagine our grandparents and how they feel right now. Imagine the feelings of "those who lived to witness this historic day."

The singer concluded her statement by encouraging everyone to vote and praising several of Houston's communities. We need you to vote. It's time to start singing a new song. We started this song 248 years ago. The echoes of decline, separation, and despair no longer apply. The generations of loved ones who came before us speak a prophecy, a mission, a calling, or a hymn."

"This is our time. It is time for America to sing a new tune." Our voices sing in unison, echoing the words of dignity and opportunity," she said, emphasizing her support for Harris. "Are you prepared to add your voices to the new American song?" she asked, emphasizing her support for Harris. So, let's do it! Ladies and gentlemen, please extend a hearty welcome to the Vice President of the United States and the future President, Kamala Harris!"
