Egyptian censors have given the green light for work on the film Ahlam Al Kharif (Autumn Dreams), written by Wahid Hamed and directed by Sharif A’rafah.

The comedy tells the story of a big official embroiled in corruption.

The film represents the seventh joint project of Hamed and Arafah, whose previous efforts have included Al Laaeb Maa Al Kibar (Playing with the Giants), Al Irhab Wal Kabab (Terrorism and Kebab), Al Mansi (The Forgotten), Tuyour Al Thalam (Dark Birds), Al Nawm Fil Asal (Sleeping in Honey) and Idhak Tetlaa Al Sourah Hilwah (Smile, the Photo Will Be Nice).
