ALBAWABA - Can Yaman, a well-known actor, continues to make a name for himself in Italy and around the globe with highly anticipated films.
The series "El Turco" was filmed for Disney Plus, but was switched to Ay Yapım when the platform temporarily withdrew from Turkey.
The series follows Ottoman soldier Hasan Balaban's metamorphosis into a folk hero in the 17th century Italian village of Moeno.
Can Yaman will exhibit the series during the Mipcom Fair, which will take place in Cannes, France, from October 21 to 24.
The series will make its debut in front of an audience during a special event on October 21 at 18:00 at the Cannes Carlton Grand Salon. The series, filmed in Hungary, also exposes the problems encountered with international productions. The series screenplay was authored by Kerem Deren and Çisil Hazal Tenim, with successful filmmaker Uluç Bayraktar bringing it to life in English. Tolga Kutluay is the director of photography.
Yaman noted that the series' shooting process was difficult, and that filming "El Turco" in Hungary was a demanding experience for him. Yaman stated that he attempted to live the life of an athlete, saying, "I had to study numerous talents such as horseback riding, excellent sword use, and fighting. I also needed to enhance my English. Working with a multinational cast motivated me to push myself to the utmost. I'm excited to share this experience with the rest of the globe.
Yaman, the series' main actor, stated that they would deliver a unique tale to the viewers by overcoming the challenges of working with actors from nine different countries. The Madd company's global distribution of "El Turco" intends to grab attention in terms of visual and narrative depth. His supporters are eagerly anticipating Can Yaman's performance in this production, which they see as a watershed moment in his career.
