Maybe reality TV is losing its sparkle, because one of the Arab world's biggest superstars has just stepped down from the next season of The X Factor Arabia!

Lebanese starlet Carole Samaha cofirmed that she won't be returning as judge on the popular singing competition, alongside her fellow judges Elissa, Hussain al Jasmi and Wael Kfoury, who, this year, officially joined the Arab Idol 3 Judging panel.

But did fellow leb singer Elissa have anything to do with Carole's departure? Rumor has it that the two aren't exactly best buds, with Laha magazine describing their relationship as "shaky."

Meanwhile, Carole was quoted as saying, "My participation in the new season (of The X Factor) is impossible as I'm very busy this year, but there's a possibility that I may participate in it in 2016 if my schedule allows. But I can't this year because I have many personal and professional obligations."

When asked if she is hiding any personal good news, the cheeky singer said, "Yes, but I will not say more." We smell a bun in the oven!

Not to be too upset, we hear that a much younger version is replacing the great Samaha. Egyptian singer and actress (and mum) Donia Samir Ghanem, who's very successful in her field, will be the next judge on season 2 of the talent competition!

Will she be able to fill Carole's stilettos? Only time will tell...

Following his very public exit from Arab Idol, sources within MBC Group confirmed that Lebanese superstar Ragheb Alama is also joining Donia this year, reported

The X Factor Arabia season 2 will no longer air on MTV Lebanon. It will now air on MBC TV instead.
