Yes, it’s totally true: Wael Kfoury IS the new judge on Arab Idol, who is replacing former judge Ragheb Alama following his sudden withdrawal from the show, and Ahlam is darn ecstatic about it!
The MBC Group officially confirmed the news that Kfoury will be joining Nancy Ajram, Ahlam and Hassan El Shafei on the talent competition’s judging panel.
Soon after MBC confirmed the news, Ahlam tweeted saying: “The Arab Idol stage is going to erupt with positive and youthful energy with your presence Wael Kfoury. Welcome to the club.”
Wael then “followed” the UAE singer on Twitter and tweeted her back a sweet poem as a thank you for her kind welcome.
Looks like those two are off to a good start, but we shall see how Nancy and Hassan will interact with the latest addition to the panel on Friday, April 11, when Idol returns for its first live show.
