ALBAWABA - Chris Hemsworth played drums during Ed Sheeran's performance in Bucharest, Romania, on Saturday night for 70,000 fans.
The actor recorded an episode of Season 2 of his National Geographic/Disney+ original series “Limitless With Chris Hemsworth” in Romania's National Arena. Season 2 debuts in 2025.
Following Saturday's stadium concert, Sheeran captioned an Instagram photo with the words, "I need Chris Hemsworth to learn how to play drums for my stadium."
Hemsworth served as the stage drummer for Sheeran's "Thinking Out Loud." Sheeran, on his +–=÷× Tour (The Mathematics Tour), said that Hemsworth had approached him about collaborating.
"Basically, what’s happening is that Chris emailed me last December saying he’s doing a documentary on cognitive health and the benefits of learning an instrument,” Sheeran stated in an Instagram video. And he came to see me, learned drums, and performed for 70,000 people.
“I’ve been thinking about it a lot,” Hemsworth said. “It'll be pleasing to finish.”
