The Cairo Family Court has declared that the young child ‘Lina’, daughter of interior designer Hind Hinawi, is not the biological daughter of young Egyptian actor Ahmad Fishawi.
The court has also accepted the lawsuit by Ahmad against Hind, claiming that if the court ruled in his favor she should be responsible for all the financial cost of both cases. According to the London based daily, Al Sharq Al Awsat, the court justified its decision on the fact that the Islamic religion does not acknowledge intimate relationships out of wedlock, or the children that are a result of that.
Hind’s family stressed they will file for an appeal to ensure that their daughter gets all her legal rights and prove that Ahmad is the father of her child.
Hind had filed a lawsuit against Ahmad accusing him of being the biological father of her daughter.
Ahmad refused to undergo a DNA test to prove if he is the father of Hind’s baby, but has admitted that he had an intimate relationship with Hind.
Ahmad claims he is “not sure” if Hind’s child is his.
Ahmad had admitted that he had an illicit affair with Hind, but stressed that they never married in secrecy.
Ahmad expressed his guilt over the nature of their relationship, and for behaving in a way that is against the teachings of Islam. He has requested the consultation of an Islamic preacher to guide him.
On a different note, Fishawi will publicly announce his engagement to a woman, not from the entertainment world.
Ahmad is in Cairo filming the final scenes of his upcoming thriller “45 Days.”
Ahmad plays a young man who lives with his wealthy parents and little sister, and tragically his parents are murdered. The accident causes Ahmad to have a nervous breakdown and he is admitted into a mental hospital for immediate treatment. His doctor decides to keep him for 45 days to carefully supervise his condition to see if he is mentally ill, or if he is in fact the killer who murdered his own parents.
“45 Days” features a number of prominent actors like Ghada Abdul Rizik, Izzat Abu Ouf, Hisham Salim, and Khaled Abu Al Najja. The film is produced by Is’aad Younis, and Egyptian actor Hannan Turk makes a special guest appearance.
The film is written by Mohammad Hafthy, and directed by Ahmad Yusri, his first film.
