After being attacked by cyber trolls for celebrating her religion last Easter, Lebanese actress and singer Cyrine Abdelnour defended her religious beliefs this week in an interview with Al Ghad Radio.
The shining starlet told hosts Raja Nasreddin and Rodolf Hilal, "I'm Christian and it's not like I surprised anyone with the news. It's all our fault (artists) for not discussing our religion in public."
At the time, it was tremendously upsetting to see our devout celebs attacked by hundreds of extremist Muslim social media users for their beliefs.
Meanwhile, Cyrine responded to those accusing her of wanting to quit acting, "I've never in my life said that I wanted to stop acting. I'd just like to make more room for singing and my family, and to try for a second baby."
If you're an Arabic speaker, you're in luck! Here's Cyrine's full interview with Al Ghad Radio below.
