ALBAWABA - Turkish actor Can Yaman has revealed the reason behind not attending the 80th edition of Venice Film Festival this year.
Many Turkish and International stars are currently staying in Italy to attend the 80th edition of Venice International Film Festival taking place from 30 August, until 9 September 2023, at Venice Lido, Italy.
Can Yaman publishes a controversial post
Through his Instagram account, the star of Viola come il mare, Can Yaman, has shared an ambiguous post on Instagram in an attempt to diss someone or some party.
The picture was in black and white and Can Yaman was sporting a dark tuxedo.
The odd thing in the picture was the caption that the Turkish artist left in Italian.
He wrote: "Just to clarify, I won't be coming to Venice this time. I will make room for others without stealing the show…"
Fans support Can Yaman
Following the vague message that Yaman left on Instagram without specifying who he meant, followers on social media started speculating and suggesting the names which Can Yaman was trying to avoid encountering at the festival.
And who else other than his former co-actress Demet Özdemir to be thought of the most by followers, suggesting that Can Yaman was trying to avoid meeting her in the ceremony.
Tweep @NicolettaVillaJ wrote: "You are always so misleading, #CanYaman didn't mentioned anyone, the Turkish actors you want to involve weren't even present in Venice. Shift the focus from the subject bringing other names in the middle it’s just pathetic, like everything you writes about him."
Meanwhile, @Gaby97711504 said: "I think Can Yaman should take legal action against several such publications that obviously denigrate him and write lies that can be proven. But once you love falsehood and lying, I don't think you understand much.... awkward."
And @_dani_ta_6said: "This is what you think. #CanYaman didn't refer to anyone, he named anyone. Ready to make your own wrong conclusions, as often happens when you talk about Can Yaman."
