You might see her face out on the street, but not on the camera if the Egyptian Actors Syndicate has anything to do with it.
Dina Sharbini has been released from prison, but the law blocks her from resuming her acting career after spending time for use of narcotics, reports Laha Magazine.
Other news tell us that the starlet is already set to make a comeback in both the film "Bitter Sugar" and the new television drama "Al Biyoot Asrar" (Secrets of Homes). Director Tareq Al Janayni is scheduled to begin shooting asap, but the syndicate has yet to give its star a permit to act.
The head of syndicate stressed that the decision to ban Dina from acting comes according to rules and regulations that are specified by the syndicate, and if one of those rules are broken as in the case of Dina, then no permit to act is given.
The rule that applies to Dina states that no person is given membership to the syndicate if they are convicted in a crime and a certain period must past before they may be considered for reinstatement.
How long that "certain period" actually is remains to be seen...as does Dina's face on screen.
