Elaine Khalaf reveals reason behind Canada tour cancellation with Ihab Tawfiq

Prominent Lebanese singer Elaine Khalaf has recently returned back from a successful tour in the United States where she held seven concerts in various American states starting with Chicago and ending in Michigan.  

 

Elaine was supposed to hold concerts in Canada alongside Egyptian singer Ehab Tawfiq just before heading to the states but her visit was canceled because she and her band could not get visas. Rumors said that she was a victim of a swindling operation. 

 

According to the London based Elaph, Khalaf denied such rumor and asserted that the only problem was the visa. She also added that she is traveling back to Canada next may to hold the same concerts that were canceled. 

 

About her latest activities, Elaine, will be traveling to Cairo to put the last touches on her latest album. The new album is the fruit of cooperation with many famous composers and poets such as Ahraf Salem, Waleed Saad, Shadi Ibrahim, and many others. 

 

Elaine is also meeting with Egyptian director Adel al-Assar to discuss a film scenario and to make a final decision about her participation in a movie alongside Egyptian actor Ahmad Izz. Elaine also revealed that she is traveling to Tunisia in the summer season where she is holding five concerts and will be participating in the spring festival in Egypt, which has come to be a tradition for her. –Albawaba.com
