Elissa Bursts Into Tears as She Talks About Beirut Explosion (Video)

Lebanese songstress Elissa could not hold her tears during a live telephone conversation as she was deeply affected by the explosion that hit her country Lebanon, particularly Beirut Port.

Elissa collapsed in tears because of the disaster that befell on Lebanese people as a result of the fatal explosion that occurred last Tuesday, which resulted in killing more than 170 people, injuring 6,000 with an unspecified number of missing people, in addition to the enormous material damage in the city.

Queen Of Sensation said that she became more emotional after the explosion, and cried live on air during her phone call with Egyptian journalist Wael El-Ibrashi as part of his program Al-Tasia' (The Ninth), considering that providing aid to Lebanon directly in front of the cameras is "humiliating."

Elisa added while crying: "The Lebanese is a lover of life and is not used to humiliation ... and when you see people who offer help, I thank them, but this is humiliating."

She also described the explosion as Hiroshima 2, held all the Lebanese officials responsible for the tragedy, and said: "The worst politicians that have ever come to the country."

For his part, Al-Abrashi tried to calm Elissa down twice, but she apologized and asked to withdraw from the live call.
