Calling all TV fans. The 64th annual Emmy awards show, billed as the Oscars of the small-screen, will be telecast live on OSN First HD/ OSN First on September 23 starting 3am. There will be repeat telecast later in the day at 8pm. The coverage promises to be comprehensive as all the details from the star-studded evening will be brought to your homes, including the red-carpet arrivals and on-stage action.
Shows including Modern Family, Homeland, Downton Abbey and American Horror Story, which are telecast in this region, have featured heavily in this year’s nomination list. While Downton Abbey, a drama set in the early 1900s, garnered 16 nominations in categories spanning Outstanding Drama, Outstanding lead Actress and Outstanding Supporting Actress, Homeland and American Horror Story have 26 nominations between them.
This year’s prime-time awards will be presented at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles.
