The great Syrian singer George Wasoof arrived in Sydney where he was welcomed by the concert planner and businessman Michael Al Hayek.
Hayek is a prominent member of the Arab community there.
According to the London daily Elaph, Al Wasoof arrived at the Sydney airport with his son Wadee’ and his entire musical group.
This is his first Sydney concert in eight years.
