It's not every day a journalist gets into the home of the old school star George Wassouf. Ever since the Syrian star's health took a turn for the worse, interviews with him have been extremely rare.
The online magazine Sayidaty.net somehow managed to make their way into the residence of George's eldest son Wadi in Al Ashrafieh, Lebanon. He's been holding up fort there until his new home is built in Al Rabia.
When Sayidaty knocked on the door, a more vibrant George welcomed the reporters and thanked them for their visit. It was apparent that he was watching television and looking very healthy. Throughout the visit, the star seemed to be himself again, joking and laughing.
George revealed to reporters that he will be filming a special episode with Lebanese television host Nishan on May 6. Tthe interview will be aired on the Egyptian satellite channel Al Hayat and the Lebanese network Al Jadid TV.
On the program hosted by Nishan, George will give all the dish on his health condition and what he went through to recover. He also promised the reporters from Sayidaty.net to hold an exclusive interview with them in the very near future.
