Almost a year after his first diagnosis, Syrian songster George Wassouf, is said to be finally on the mend and on his way to Beirut to visit his wife and kids.
The pro-Assad star has been undergoing treatment in Sweden for a brain stroke but decided to make the trip to the region before heading back for more treatment.
According to Sayidaty magazine, who spoke to George on the phone, the star wants to send out a message to all his fans to thank them for their support. George promised supporters that he is finally on the mend and will be returning to the region for good in June.
