Egyptian actress Ghada Abd Al Raziq denied reports that there are disputes between her and the Arab satellite television channel CBC, which will air her new television drama “Ma’ Sibq Al Israr” (With insistency) exclusively during the holy month of Ramadan.
According to the London based Elaph, it was said that disputes between Ghada and the channel erupted due to the fact that she is taking part in the new drama “Alf Lailah wa Lailah” (A thousand and one nights), which is the first 3-D Arab drama. Ghada said that “A thousand and one nights” is not considered a drama due to the fact that it is composed of 15 episodes with each episode lasting 15 minutes. She added that the leading role is given to a number of stars. She added that her time filming the dramas does not conflict and the makers of both have worked out a reasonable schedule for her.
Ghada expressed her happiness at the fact that Lebanese singer Elissa sang the theme song for the drama stating that this factor will surely be in the drama’s best interest. Ghada denied rumors that Elissa had backed out from singing the song for the drama and said the song was recorded and is ready.
