ALBAWABA - Just like GTA 4 and 5, it appears that Rockstar's most anticipated upcoming open-world game, GTA 6 will be coming to consoles first including PS5 and Xbox before hitting PC.
After the successful release of the GTA 6 trailer, Rockstar revealed some details on what to expect from the game. According to a press release from Rockstar's mother company Take-Two, GTA 6 will be released on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/ S but it hasn't mentioned anything about the game coming to PC.
Concerns over GTA 6 releasing after two years on PC from the initial console release
As mentioned above, it took Rockstar and Take-two, a total of two years to bring GTA 5 to PC which was previously first released on PS3 and Xbox 360 in 2023 and later hit PS4 and Xbox One in 2024.
On the other hand, GTA 4 was also released on consoles first but took only six months to hit Microsoft Windows.
GTA 5 was released on PC in 2015 which leaves fans of the franchise with one question. Will GTA 6 launch on PC two years after consoles?
We have no news about when to expect GTA 6 on PC unfortunately, but the new trailer released on Monday confirmed a 2025 release date for consoles including the PS5 and Xbox series X/S.
The trailer showcases the two main protagonists of GTA 6 Lucia alongside an unnamed male lead who are in a relationship filled with love and crime. Additionally, Rockstar is bringing back our favorite city in the franchise, Vice City which is the Grand Theft Auto version of America's Miami.
Tom Petty is featured as the artist for the song in the trailer called " Love Is A Long Road" which complements the visuals excellently.
