The famous Lebanese artist Haifa Wehbi declined to participate in an episode of the seventh season of the popular television comedy series “Ragel O Sit Sitat” (A Man and 6 Women),which stars Egyptian comedian Ashraf Abed Al Baqi.
The series production company said it was surprised by Haifa’s conditions to participate and decided to rescind their offer.
Haifa requested a payment of US$250,000, around the same figure she was paid to appear on similar shows aired on Arab satellite channels.
Haifa’s second condition to participate was that accommodations at a five star hotel with her bodyguards and travel expenses be covered by the series.
