Egyptian actress Hala Shiha has suddenly pulled out of the upcoming new film “Arees Amn El Dawleh” for Egyptian comedian actor Adel Imam without giving any prior warning. The actress did not give any details regarding her sudden decision.

Hala’s father, artist Ahmad Shiha, tried to pressure her into rethinking her decision stressing that to be given a role alongside such a prominent actor as Adel is an opportunity that should not be passed. Ahmad added that Hala’s unexplained attitude towards the matter is absolute insanity and if her backing out is due to some scenes she does not approve of, she can simply ask for alteration to be made to the script.

Hala’s father added that he is worried that resigned actresses, who quit their career and wore the Islamic headdress Hijab, have once again successfully placed pressure on his daughter to follow their footsteps. On her part, Hala stressed that the role in the film simply did not suit her and she wished that her father her will leave the decision up to her and not interfere in her career.

Shiha had been waiting for the right moment to make her debut back into the big screen after she had previously resigned from acting due to wearing the Hijab (headdress), which she took off feeling she is not ready to give up her career. Since she announced her return, Hala has not taken part in any new film.

Egyptian comedian-actor Adel Imam, who has not been officially notified of Hala’s decision, had nominated Hala for his upcoming film. The actress had at first expressed her acceptance of the role offered to her stressing that a film alongside Adel is a great way of making her come back.

Former world famous Squash player and current singer, Ahmad Barradah, announced that he intends to marry Hala in the very near future in a small wedding ceremony in one of his friends houses. Barada added that only a short list of people will attend the wedding party, due to the fact that he and Hala want a small and cozy wedding.

Barada said that he found all what he wished in a woman in Hala, saying that she is very kind, logical, down to earth girl. The two have gotten engaged after denying any form of bond between them to be more than a friendship. The couple held their engagement among a small circle of very close family member wanting the occasion to be as private as possible.

Ahmad stressed that he did not want their engagement pictures to be released to the press and wanted them to be kept private, saying that when he and Hala are married they will release them. The couple’s relationship had began with them becoming friends and then progressed to the point that they realized they could not live without one another. –Albawaba.com
