Egyptian comedian actor Hani Ramzi has been busy plotting away to shut down an Islamist TV channel.

But justice was served this week when the Egyptian channel in question, “Al Hafez,” was closed down for good following a lawsuit filed against them by the actor.

Hani had filed the lawsuit against them after watching the channel and realizing that its teachings and preachers had nothing to do with the correct teachings of Islam.

Presenters would often curse and use inappropriate language to describe individuals and celebrities.

Ramzi and his family were targeted by those preachers, specifically by TV host Abdullah Badr, who presented “Fi Al Mizan” (On the Scales), where he set out to create chaos by spreading false accusations against Hani and his family.

Later on, things got so bad that he began receiving death threats from persons working at the channel.

Hani was filled with feelings of joy and relief once the station was shut down; he said that it was a victory for him and all celebrities alike.

The actor was even happier that those fake preachers aren't able to use Islam under false pretenses for their own personal gains any longer.
