Former Egyptian actress Hannan Turk has achieved the impossible - the high profile star recently managed to celebrate her engagement in complete secrecy, away from the prying eyes of the media and her legions of fans.
Rumours have been filling the celeb world of a mystery suitor since Hannan's shock Ramadan announcement that she would be hanging up her acting shoes.
But, contrary to popular gossip, the identity of her lover is not famous Islamic preacher Amr Khaled, but Mohammad Malek - son of Muslim Brotherhood member Hassan Malek.
The pair's love story was off to a rocky start with Mohammad's father disapproving of the star's profession. But, with Hannan now devoting her life to more charitable causes, it seems the time was right for the engagement to go ahead.
Now that the loved-up couple have jumped the initial hurdle, Hannan is keen to make sure that her two sons are as happy with her new man as she is.
