A crisis has erupted between Hussein Fahmi and Adel Imam over starring the character of a blind man in two different films.

The first movie is “Amir Azzalam” (Prince of Darkness) starred by Imam and directed by his son Rami, and the second film is “Anbar Wal Alwan" (Anbar and Colors) starred by Fahmi and Athar al-Hakim and directed by Adel al-Aasar.

The main character in both comic movies tell is a blind man, and according to Fahmi, this is the reason why Imam does not want the two movies to be screened simultaneously.

Fahmi accused Imam of conspiracy to prevent the screening of his movie. Both movies are scheduled to be shown during the summer holidays.

Ironically, Anbar Wal Alwan was produced three years ago but no movie theater has been enthusiastic to screen it; however, the conflict might bring it some popularity after this period of negligence.

The last film costarred by the two celebrated stars was Allaeb Ma'a el Kibar “Playing Games with the Influential.” – Albawaba.com
