And when it comes to matters of the heart, Eman el Assy prefers to keep those private... or so it seems!
Rumor has it that the mother-of-one is secretly married to fellow Egyptian actor Tariq Sabri. Eman never kept her first marriage a secret; if that were true, why would she the second time around?
Rumor-makers have a strong case on their hands though, as a series of "romantic" comments fuelled speculations that more than just a friendship ties the two together!
It was when Eman posted a picture of her at a New Year's Eve party with the caption, "An unforgettable moment that I'll never forget," and Tariq commented, "Forever and ever," that something didn't look right.
Their fans' suspicions rose when Tariq uploaded a picture with Eman's daughter - from her first marriage - and wrote the misleading caption, "To my very special daughter, from the day you came into my world I felt so proud and blessed to have you. I celebrate this very special day to mark my first milestone with you. Happy birthday. I really wish you all the happiness in the world and wish you can read those words soon. We must be thankful to have you, our precious girl."
Isn't that a clear message that Tariq is an official and close part of Eman and her daughter's lives?
Refusing to admit defeat, Eman stressed that she isn't married to Tariq as rumored.
"Don't start creating rumors. I'm not married and did not marry in secret, nor officially, and when something of the sort happens I will let everybody know about it. So, stop making assumptions," a distressed Eman said, according to Al Jaras magazine.
