An insider close to Moroccan singer Jannat has confirmed that her new album won’t be released until 2013. Previously, it was expected that it would be released during the upcoming New Year celebrations.
The source revealed that the continuining trouble in Egypt was playing on Jannat’s mind, and she hasn’t given the master copy to her production label, ‘Rotna’. No new release date has been confirmed.
Jannat only recently signed to the new label, who are the sole company she is working with. The delay to the album has caused great upset to her fans, who are eagerly awaiting new material from the 26 year old.
