Syrian actress Jenny Asper is starring in her first ever leading role in a TV drama since the beginning of her fruitful career, reported Elaph news.
We’ve watched her, and fell in love with her, in “The Girls,” but Jenny is now starring in a whole different kind of drama.
The pretty actress is taking on a new challenge in the historical series “Abwab Al Reeh” (Gates of the Wind).
The drama relives the ethnic and religious conflicts occurring between the Northern Lebanon Druze and Maronite Christians who moved to Damascus in the 1860 period.
Taking on the male leading role next to Jenny is Salloum Haddad. The Damascus-based drama was written by Khaldoun Qatlan, directed by Al Muthanna Subuh and produced by “Sama International Art.”
