Syrian actress Karis Bashar is the last actress to join the “Bab El Harah” (The Neighborhood Door) cast, which is preparing to film its final two ever seasons.

The sixth and seventh parts will star newcomers as well as some of the show's most-loved original cast. This will be Karis' first time acting on the popular drama series.

According to Elaph news, the highly-acclaimed show was written by Suleiman Abdel Aziz and Uthman Hajja, and will be directed by Azzam Fawq Al Adeh and Bassam Al Mulla.

But it was rumored that the writer of the previous seasons, Marwan Qawok, intends on filing a lawsuit against the show makers, due to the fact that he own the propriety rights to the show.

However, Marwan took to his Facebook page and clarified the matter, saying:

"There is no lawsuit against the great director Bassam Al Mulla. "Bab Al Harah" will continue with or without me. I pray for the success of seasons six and seven.”

Karis is already starring in two other dramas to be aired during the coming Ramadan season of 2014. The first drama will be "Khawatim" (Rings) with director Naji Ta'mi, and the second, which she is currently filming the scenes for in Lebanon is "Qalam Humrah" (Lipstick) for writer May Mashhadi and director Hatem Al Ali.
