After posing for selfies in a tiny vintage Chanel bikini, Kim Kardashian was obviously pleased with the results.
But her fans were less than delighted when she shared the resulting provocative images to Instagram on Friday.
Reminding her that her children would see the sexualised imaged one day, she was branded 'desperate', 'sad' and 'vulgar'.
Instead of her usual bikini poses - reclining on a beach, or pouting in a mirror - the image showed her in bed, legs spread, figure on full display in the tiny two-piece.
'Chanel vintage, lets please be specific,' she captioned her shot.
But her fans were not impressed, advising her to think of her 'impressionable young daughter'.
This is not the first time Kim has worn the tiny two-piece.
On Monday she shared a picture in bed, wearing the doll-sized swimsuit, while sticking out her tongue in a suggestive style.
The bikini is, as Kim said, vintage. It was originally worn by a host of model's in Chanel's 1996 SS show including Eva Herzigova and Stella Tennant.
The bikini was reissued three years ago - with the top alone retailing for $1,450. Kim's version was from that batch.
Kim's raunchy poses comes after she slammed her sisters Khloe and Kourtney for their fashion sense in an upcoming episode of her show Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
Calling the two 'f***ing clowns' she told them it was time for a 'fashion overhaul'.
While her sisters had at first smiled at Kim's words, they grimaced as she added: 'I am literally cropping myself out.'
Kim then told Kourtney: 'You can be cooler.'
But Kourtney bit back in the episode, which will be screened in the U.S. on Sunday, telling the camera: 'You think I looked like a clown? well you look like you just won the Tour de France and you're cycling around town.'
Kim then decreed: 'I'm not telling you who to be or what to wear or anything. But I'm telling you who to be and what to wear. It could be time for a fashion overhaul so that you stay young and relevant.'
Previously on KUWTK the mother-of-three revealed that her husband Kanye West tried and failed to control her Instagram account.
His attempts to oversee her posts ended in a huge row between the couple, as shown on last week's Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
‘He wanted me to post six polaroids from that shoot…but I posted one from the beach,' she explained to sister Khloe. 'He wanted them to all match up and be from the motel, that’s what the f*****g fight was,’ she explained to her sister.
‘I’m like, “I like the beach one's and he’s like “no! You don’t understand, I see the vision.’"
‘I’m like it’s my Instagram, you’re not going to tell me what to post, that’s like the one thing, no one will tell me what to post,’ she proclaimed.
Kim and Kanye have been married for four years, and have three children - five-year-old North, two-year-old Saint and baby Chicago.
