Egyptian actor Laila Elwi will travel to Boston, Massachusetts, where she will take part in an American film “Rouh Malak” (An Angel’s Soul), directed by Egyptian born George Al Mutairi, who immigrated to the United States 35 years ago.
The film revolves around a young Egyptian woman, whose powerful spirit allows her to predict the future, beginning with events that will happen to family members residing in America.
Americans begin to seek her unique ability to have their fortunes told. The remaining cast, comprised of Egyptian and American actors has yet to be chosen.
On a different note, Laila has denied circulating rumors that she was secretly married. If she were to marry she would proudly publicly announce it, said Laila.
Laila questioned why she has been accused of such an act, when it is well known that she is an open person with nothing to hide.
Previously rumors were circulating in the entertainment world claiming that Laila is considering resigning from her acting career after facing numerous problems. Laila had been avoiding the media, refusing to hold interviews or make public appearances.
