Next weekend, Lebanese hottie Majida Al Roumi is gonna rock the stage in Abu Dhabi for a whoopin’ celebration of the nation's 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations with Lebanon on the 14th, followed by a big bash at Morocco's Timitar Festival towards the end of the month.
Between these premier performances and other hot projects, the diva simply doesn’t have time for a little guest star appearance on the hit talent show Arab Idol. Majida was invited to sing on one of the season’s final episodes, but she declined, noting that singing on MBC would be an honor but not on a specific program. According to the Middle East news portal Elaph, she isn’t used to singing on talent programs.
Rumor had it that the songstress was in negotiations to become a judge on MBC’s other talent show "The Voice", but the gossip was confirmed untrue after Egyptian superstar Sherine Abdel Wahab decided to stay on the judging panel for a second season.
Did Majida decline the invite in hopes of a better offer on ‘The Voice’, or did she really have better things to do? Please share with us your opinion with your comments below.
