It was simple for George Clooney to put together his look for this year's Golden Globe Awards ceremony.

The 2015 Cecil B. DeMille Award recipient grabbed a flattering piece that also held a special meaning for the star.

'I'm wearing my wedding tux,' the 53-year-old admitted at the event, which was held in Beverly Hills on Sunday evening.

George had previously worn the dapper Giorgio Armani tuxedo on September 27 when he married Amal in Venice, Italy

While in the pressroom at the Golden Globes, George talked about the prep that new wife Amal went through for the night, according to Us Weekly.

'I was talking with Don Cheadle [about this] - guys just have it so much easier,' the actor shared, adding: 'It's honestly not fair.'

'Amal was looking at dresses last night still, trying to figure out what she was going to wear and I was watching the football game,' the Gravity actor added.

'Two o’clock this afternoon, I was still watching football and she's... It’s not fair to women these award shows.'

Amal eventually chose a sleek black Dior gown along with a pair of white gloves for the star studded event.

The couple looked enamored as they cozied up to each other throughout the show, and George even took a special moment to thank the activist when he took the stage.

During his acceptance speech for the Cecil B. DeMille Award, he said: 'It's a humbling thing when you find someone you love.'

The actor continued: 'Amal, whatever alchemy it is that brought us together I couldn't be more proud to be called your husband.'
