Menna Shalabi has been learning the Waltz for her upcoming role in the Ramadan drama "Haret Al Yahood" (The Jewish Neighborhood).
Fans have circulated a video of the Egyptian starlet professionally learning the dance moves to the classic couples dance with her co-star Egyptian actor Ahmed Hatem.
"The Jewish Neighborhood" focuses on the events taking place in Egypt during The Egyptian revolution of 1952, also known as the 23 July Revolution, when Jews still lived in Egypt.
The story also follows the lives of Jewish and Muslim Egyptians living together side by side in one of Cairo's Jewish neighborhoods. Meanwhile, Menna plays a young woman who falls in love with a Muslim soldier, played by Eyad Nassar - unbeknown to him, she is Jewish. Consequently, both their lives are turned upside down.
