Reliable sources in the entertainment world have confirmed that prominent Egyptian actress Mervat Amin is preparing to get married to an Egyptian tycoon, who is also a political figure. What added to the truthfulness of the rumor is the new look the actress acquired and was noticeable at a number of social events during the holy month of Ramadan.
The actress had caught the attention of people with the style of cloths she was wearing and appeared to be very fresh and happy. Mervat did not confirm of deny the rumor. If the news turns out to be true it will be the actress’s fifth marriage.
On a different note, Mervat declined all offers to star in films, stating that she has yet to be offered an adequate role that will preserve "the image she has worked so hard to create since the beginning of her career."
The actor stressed that her focus on television dramas is not a substitute for the cinema, adding that all of the dramas she has starred in have augmented her career.
