Never one to keep his views to himself, legendary Lebanese singer and composer, Milhim Barakat, found himself ranting about everything from politics to celebrities when he was interviewed this week on OTV's 'What's Up' TV show.

The crooner claimed modern stars were like political parties although didn't elaborate on exactly what that meant. He later rambled about his love for Lebanese General Michel Aoun, a man who declared war on the Syrian occupation of Lebanon in the late 1980s and 90s.

Milhim also claimed he was blocked from being a judge on one of the Middle East's biggest talent shows by one of the female judging panel. It was only when the interviewer asked about Arabs Got Talent diva, Najwa Karam, that the legendary singer held his tongue.

The star was rumored to be hooking up with Lebanese beauty, Najwa, in the past and was keen to boast to anyone who would listen about their "love affair". However, this time round his was a tight lipped about the flawless songstress, saying he didn't want to upset her boyfriend.
