One of the happiest days of our lives is “graduation day.” But what could possibly top it off other than having your favorite star perform at the ceremony?

According to Laha Magazine, Alexandria University students were in for a treat when they voted for their favorite star to perform at their 68th graduation ceremony.

Popular Egyptian singer Mohamed Hamaki was the lucky star – or were they the lucky ones? - chosen by the excited students in Egypt.

A strong five-thousand crowd, including the students' families, attended the ceremony, where Mohamed sang a collection of his classic and recent hits as requested by the audience.

Although the singer struggled to get on stage due to students crowding him for memorable pictures and autographs, he asked his bodyguards to step aside and make room to allow them space to get close to him.
