Mohammad Muneer on demand

Ibrahim Al Aqbawi, head of production company ‘Voice of Cairo for Audio and Visual,’ is negotiating with Egyptian singer Mohammad Muneer for the leading role in a new film. The company has offered Mohammad to sing a collection of songs for the movie soundtrack that will be released in an album and distributed by the company.

 

According to the Qatar based daily, Al Raya, Al Aqbawi stated that Muneer would be involved at all levels of production, including the screenplay and deciding upon the remaining cast and direction.

 

The singer is reviewing the offer and will not make a final decision until he is informed of the film’s budget.

 

Tunisian singer Latifa has welcomed her nomination for a leading role alongside Muneer in a new musical film. The film is Muneer’s biography, depicting his journey through the entertainment world. Muneer would like the film to begin in his hometown Aswan, among his family and life long friends.

 

Per Muneer’s request, the film will be directed by Jocelyn Saab. Muneer revealed that he chose Saab out of his admiration and respect for her work. He previously worked with her on the film “Dunia,” which has yet to be screened.

 

The singer stressed that he will place enormous efforts on the production of the film so that it will meet the highest standards. The film will be released the in English, French, and German to be screened in different European countries where he has a fan base.
