The Egyptian young actress Muna Zaki is about to wrap up shooting her film Mafia along with actor Ahmed al Saqqa under the direction of Sherif Arafah.

“One day after my wedding I went to South Africa where some scenes of the film Mafia were being shot. Costarring in the film along with me are Ahmed al Saqqa, Mustafa Shaaban, Mohammed Rizq and an actress from South Africa who debuts in an Arabic film. Some scenes were scheduled for shooting, as I couldn’t postpone them due to my marriage. Therefore I couldn’t travel to any other country to spend the honeymoon, so I went to South Africa for that purpose,” Muna Zaki told the Arabic daily al Hayat.

She added, “South Africa is a very beautiful country and full of attractive landscapes. It is also a very quiet and charming place. Therefore my husband Ahmed accepted the idea with pleasure, as he understands the nature of my job and the circumstances that I might face from time to time. Our work as stars spurs us to make many arrangements in our personal life.”

Zaki reiterated that her marriage to Ahmed Hilmi was not due to the fact that they have the same profession. “On the contrary, I would have married Ahmed if even if he had been doing another job. Our marriage has not been linked with acting. What makes Ahmed distinctive to me is the fact that he acts as a very normal person who does not feel at all that he is an actor. We have not been dealing with each other from that perspective but acting was the starting point where we got acquainted,” said Zaki -- Albawaba.com
