During her presence in the United Arab Emirates to accept a recognition award from the fifth annual International Monodrama Festival, Egyptian actress Nabila Obeid expressed her extreme regret at not getting married and having children. She stated that having children was always a dream for her and her deceased mother.
Nabila had talked about her experience as an actress and that throughout her career she presented 86 films, seven plays and two television dramas. She added she was able to reach stardom because of two important factors. The first is her insistency on always being herself and refusing to accept failure or fear competition, and the second is the support of her mother who was always by her side until her last breath.
During the honoring ceremony, Nabila stressed that it is very important for an artist to always maintain his place and not take on works that may degrade an him or her.
