A fierce competition between singers these days has created chaos in the means used to reach popularity. Some singers have gone to extreme levels trying to reach stardom, which many see as temporarily due to the fact that no real talent is being shown. Due to these circumstances, singers started using all their assets including their bodies to attract fans that would be glued to TV screens to watch seductive video clips all day long.
In a time that success needs organized planning and years of hard work, many new singers cannot wait that long and so turned to use their seductive talents instead of their singing talents to achieve fame.
Arab produces started copying western video clips to gain more viewers forgetting that these types of clips are not acceptable in Arab culture and tradition. Instead of using the advanced technologies in western clips and use it to produce Arab flavored musical clips, an imitation of cheap western musical videos that concentrates on body instincts is being adopted.
Tunisian singer Najla, whose first profession is belly dancing, is now occupying the number one spot of having the most seductive and extremely sexual video clip. She is the living example of sexing-up the Arabic video clips and changing it from a musical script to a mere cheap sexual performance.
In her clip her body is the main subject of the video and other things like the words, music, and voice were just accessories. Najla is definitely not like Nancy Ajram and Alissa or even like Ruby and Marawa because those singers had the minimum required talent to sing in addition to their seductive performance.
In Najla's case her voice is irrelevant, she was holding the phone speaker in her hand and showing her body in a very cheap way that only suggested sex. The whole build up of the clip like the scorpion, Najla's revealing dress, the desert and the snake bite only gave one impression which was heat and sex.
The director of Najla's sexual clip has announced that he rids his hands of her especially after her latest comments that she was able to entice the horse in her video clip sexually.
