Scenarist Mohammad Al Basousi was successful in finally convincing legendary Egyptian actress Najla Fathi, also known as the star of the Arab screen, to return to the acting world by taking part in the upcoming television drama series “Al Mala’ika Yahboon Aidan” (Angels Love Too). The scenarist had waited until Najla regained her health once more.
According to the Egyptian based daily, Al Gomhorya, in the series, Najla will play the role of a surgeon at a children’s hospital, who is very devoted to her work. Throughout the course of events, her devotion causes her to fall into many obstacles due to other’s lack of loyalty to their professions.
Recently, Egyptian director Mohammad Khan endlessly tried to convince Najla to return back to the scenes by nominating her for a leading role in his upcoming television drama series “Rijal Raya wi Skeena” (The men of Raya and Skeena). Mohammad has revealed that he is hoping that Najla’s return to the scenes will be through his series, in which Mohammad Naser is writing the scenario.
Najla had regained her physical strength after a heart surgery she underwent in France. Fathi began looking through a number of scripts she has received in order to face the camera once more after an absence that has lasted for many years. The actress is keen on choosing the right offer which will adds to her long history of success and is up to her standards. –Albawaba.com
