The Lebanese singer, Nawal Azzughby decided to file a case against the Turkish singer Mustafa Sandal who allegedly stole her famous song
“Addalouna” from her latest album “Maloom”.
Nawal accused the Turkish singer of stealing her song and changing its words but keeping the same tune to pretend that it is from Turkish folklore.
The Lebanese singer’s claim is supported by the fact that her song was written and composed by Marwan Khoury, a Lebanese composer. The Turkish singer is also alleged to have plagiarized the songs of other Arab singers by stealing their songs and singing them in his own language.
