Lebanese singer Nawal Al Zoughbi recently refused to appear as a guest on the weekly program "Li Man Yajru Fakat" (For Those Who Dare Only). According to the Qatar based daily, Al Raya, Nawal explained that appearing on the show would not have added to her career, and that the host, television announcer Tony Khalifa, delves into topics that are too personal to be discussed live on television.
Although, she stated that she has great respect for the director of the program, Simone Asmar, despite her decision.
Regarding her illness, Nawal stated that she went through a very harsh and stressful time in her life for a period of six months, and did not know her fate when she had to undergo critical surgery.
After giving birth to her twins, her doctors discovered she had a tumor, and her case is still being carefully followed.
This is the reason the singer stayed away from the spotlight for some time until she had enough time to recover. Nawal revealed that until this point she is still taking medication and is hopeful her health condition will gradually improve.
