Egyptian resigned actress Sabrine, who was recently forbidden to leave Egypt, has announced that she did not commit any crime and the whole matter is a misunderstanding over a check. The actress admitted that she and her husband were forbidden to leave Egypt, but the matter was a misunderstanding over a check that was in her name and belonged to her ex-husband.
Sabrine added that when she was stopped by security, she explained the entire matter and the check was paid in full and the restriction placed on her was immediately removed. The actress stressed that misunderstandings happen with people all the time and they do not imply that the person is a criminal or has done something wrong.
Sabrine was stopped at Cairo Airport by security guards stressing that her name is listed in their documents among people who are prohibited from leaving the country. Sabrine was stopped accompanied by her husband, Egyptian businessman Tareq Jalal Mahmoud, when they were on their way to Saudi Arabia. The resigned actress had demanded an explanation on why she is not allowed to leave the country, but was given no answer and simply told the decision came from a higher official.
Sabrine had recently married in complete privacy with the presence of only the closest friends and family members. Sabrine stressed that she does not plan to live in the US as previous rumors had it due to her husband’s work. Jalal owns a tourism agency in the state of New Jersey called Platinum. She added that she could never imagine living outside her country and not be surrounded by her family and friends.
Sabrine noted that she had come to an agreement with her husband that he will be traveling every once in a while to the US for his work, while she stayed in Egypt. The actress denied sayings that she intends on returning to the acting world, and is surprised many had in fact believed her return. She said that her acting career is completely over and the thought of returning is impossible. – Albawaba.com
