Sexy actress Ola Ghanem, known more for x-rated scenes than for her religious modesty, speaks highly of the head-veil.
The Egyptian controversial actress Ghanem, notorious for her seductive roles and daring life-style choices, described the Islamic headdress, or the Hijab, as a very comforting and practical garment choice after she appeared wearing it in the television drama “Al Zawjah Al Rabi’ah” (The Fourth Wife), starring alongside Egyptian actor Mustafa Shabaan.
Ola to cover up?
Talk of the possibility of her veiling-up after playing a hijabi woman has inevitably come-up as the idea captured the viewer's imagination. But Ola has taken the wind of this rumor's sails by dening any intention to do so, at least in the foreseeable future. In her own words, Ola said that she does not see herself wearing the Hijab at this time in her life and considers the decision to do so to be based on the bond a woman has with God. She added that many women in Egypt are not veiled, yet they dress conservatively, in line with cultural traditions.
Ola clearly takes this kind of lifestyle decision seriously as she went on to stress that making the decision to wear the Hijab involves resolving to completely sequester yourself from the eyes of the public. She sees it as an act of devotion and an exclusive commitment to God and family.
It is probably fair to say that the actress is not quite at that place yet, not having her daughters accompany her on set, nor giving up her scandalous acting roles for anyone, government or censors.
