ALBAWABA - Palworld is once again under fire but for a reason other than "copying Nintendo's Pokemon" and allegedly using AI.
The Nonprofit Organization PETA which is also known for its controversial takes responded to the "animal cruelty" in the best-selling game with a statement that made social media users and gamers poke fun at the organization as Palworld is "just a game."
PETA responds to 'animal cruelty' in Palworld
Palworld surpassed all expectations after selling millions of copies, days after release and surpassing the player count of Valve's Counter Strike Global Offensive on Steam! Pocket Pair's CEO and director said that their artists are receiving death threats after talks on social media about them allegedly using AI for Pal designs, and asked to refrain from such messages.
In Palworld, players can beat pals to death, damage them to make them easier to catch, force them under tough working conditions, and more. Insider Gaming reached out to PETA for its opinion about a game like this and received a statement in response:
"PETA has already heard from many Palworld fans who have no interest in eating ‘Pals’ and want a vegan guide created for the game. It’s ‘Veganuary’ after all, and gamers want to help animals by eating vegan in their game worlds and outside."

PETA didn't issue any further opinions about the grueling working conditions players can force pals who can work themselves to death.
At the end of the day, in our opinion, It's just a game and shouldn't be taken that seriously. A user commented on Insider Gaming's article, "They hate Pokémon so I assume they have to hate this."
