Production company "Alam Al Fan" spread some harsh news in a press release to discuss the reports about the misuse of Mayada Hinawi's music archive.
According to Laha Magazine, Ali Abdel Fatah, official spokesperson of the company, said that the Syrian songstress's works are property of the company, and no one has the right to use them without referring to the company.
When asked about Mayada's relationship with production company "Mazzika", Abdel Fatah stressed that Mazzika owner Muhsin Jaber is in constant contact with Mayada. He added that Mayada has completed the phase of selecting the songs for her upcoming album and will record them once conditions in Syria calm down.
Muhsin had made a proposal for Mayada to reside in Egypt until conditions in Syria stabilize, but she strongly refused and thanked him for his generosity. She still prefers to remain in Syria with her family.
