The Egyptian actress Pusi is currently reading the script of the film Dukhlet Widad (Widad’s Wedding), which her husband, renowned actor Noor Al Sharif, will begin shooting early next winter.
This will be his second film project, coming on the heels of Al Ashiqan (Two Lovers).
“I am waiting for this film with strong enthusiasm. Its theme is magnificent and it has many symbols that refer to many incidents that occur in this age,” Pusi told the UAE daily Al Bayan.
Pusi plays the role of an Egyptian woman who reaches the age 40, having had four opportunities to get married.
She remembers these opportunities during her father’s funeral, with which the film begins, and recalls various events and depressions - Albawaba.com
