Lebanese singer Ragheb Alama held a concert in Dubai for the Iranian community there, upon a request from an Iranian company based in the UAE.

According to the London based weekly, Laha, the concert was a great success, drawing a diverse audience.

Recently, Alama was shocked when American singer Michael Jackson appeared at a concert he was holding in Bahrain, where Jackson is currently residing.

Jackson listened to the concert and exchanged greetings with Ragheb after the show.  Jackson admired Ragheb’s talent, and Ragheb told Michael he had hoped to have the opportunity to meet him, and described his music as a source of inspiration.

On a different note, Alama denied circulating rumors that he is having marital problems with his wife Jihan. The singer assured that his relationship with his wife could not be better and they are on excellent terms.

Ragheb added that he is living a happy, stable life with Jihan and his two sons. The singer stressed that he is tired of individuals who consistently attempt to create problems for him and his family.

Producer Yousif Harb is organizing a tour around the US and Canada for Ragheb and Lebanese singer Alissa, along with impressionist Bassem Faghali, scheduled to begin on May 19 and last until June 3.
